There are two airports in Cyprus. One is in Larnaca and the other one is in Paphos. Larnaca airport is bigger, more modern and nearer to Nicosia, Ayia Napa and Protaras. Some airlines, however, only stop at Paphos airport, so plan accordingly.

No! ‘Ercan’ and any other airports in the Turkish occupied area are illegal points of entry into the Republic of Cyprus. The penalties for entering through an illegal airport are imprisonment for no more than twelve months, or payment of a fine for no more than €1,700, or both.
